Euan Needs Your Help Right NOW!

Epidermolysis Bullosa is a rare genetic skin disorder that affects 1 in 50,000 people worldwide.  This condition causes the skin to be extremely fragile, as well as the epithelial tissue inside the body, affecting everything from breathing to digestion.  Euan suffers from blisters and open wounds on his skin, as well as blistering in his throat and entire digestive system, causing him to vomit blood and stomach contents.  Euan has not been able to gain weight normally because his body is continuously healing, which requires an enormous amount of calories.  He weighs only 14 kilos (30lbs), and he is SEVEN years old.

Tragically, Euan’s family lives in the Philippines, and so they have had to pay out of pocket for all of his procedures, as well as daily supplies.  In America, the average EB patient’s wound care supplies and necessities can run upwards of $10,000 per month.  In the next few days, Euan’s surgeons will be traveling to the Philippines to try to give him a g-tube, which will allow him to gain weight and be much better nourished.  His mouth, throat, and esophagus will also then be spared blisters and sores.

THIS PAYPAL ACCOUNT BELONGS TO EUAN’S MOTHER, SHARON ROSE.  ALL OF THE FUNDS GO DIRECTLY TO HER.  Please please please help out if you can.  If you cannot, please share.

Here is a note from Eaun’s mother:

We are deeply, humbly and sincerely asking for any help for the operation of my son to receive a g-tube because he is malnourished. This is a common occurrence for those with EB. He is also very prone to any infection, at any time. I don’t know how much the operation costs and before transferring to another hospital for the surgery, we have a bill to pay in the present hospital we are in. We are asking for all prayers and monetary help that we can get for my son.

God guide us and give us, especially Euan, all the strength we need to surpass the challenges which we have endured since he was born.

PAY IT FORWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
